Don Browne plays guitar, mandolin and sings for the Fireroast Mountain Boys. He also played with Outhouse Moon with Alice Browne and Tim Gustafson. He is a songwriter and the Fireroast Mountain Boys perform quite a few of his songs and 5 of them are on the CD. He has a degree in music therapy and his influences include Eddie Williams, Biff Rose, Dixieland Jazz, Benjamin Calusa, the Moosewallow Ramblers, Lou Reed, campfire songs, and Rennaisance sakbut music. His favorite comfort food is tater-tot hotdish and his feet are different sizes. His wife & daughter often shake their heads in amazemnt and say, "How can one guy be so consistently funny?" |
