Judge Bennett is a trio that plays a wide variety of music suitable for medium to large coffee houses and other similar settings. John Bennett plays acoustic guitar and harmonica and is the lead vocalist. John is a veteran performer in acoustic blues and folk music and has written over 250 songs. Jim Feldman plays electric bass, flute and does some singing. Jim's musical roots are in jazz and blues and since joining Judge Bennett he has been writing songs. Tom Judge plays drums and percussion and has an extensive background playing in rock clubs. The Judge Bennett sound can best be described as a mix of originals and covers running the musical gamut from acoustic blues to jazz to country to folk to rock and back again. A typical performance will include familiar covers, Judge Bennett original material and arrangements of songs with a Judge Bennett flavor.
